YEAR 11 Students

YEAR 11 STUDENTS

At Solway College Year 11 students are fully timetabled for the whole week.

There are no free study periods allocated. 

For Year 11 students the following courses are compulsory:

 English or literacy pathway 
 Mathematics or numeracy pathway 
 Science

 Three other subjects to be selected

These areas of study are made compulsory to ensure that the options taken at this level enable students to change their career choices and yet still have the necessary subjects.  

Christian Education is also a timetabled lesson each week and is compulsory for all Year 11 students.
