7CHED Course DescriptionTeacher in Charge: Mrs J. Rees.
Year 7 Christian Education is part of our Solway College Special Character. All Year 7 students will partake in this one hour per week lesson.
Students will learn:
- about the Christian values of Solway College
- how to find scriptures within the bible
- about the real meaning of Easter and Christmas
- about inspirational women within the bible
- to prepare and lead a Chapel service for the school
- about the way in which spirituality fits within the Te Whare Tapa Wha well-being framework.
